Worship Ministry

...A Call To Genuine Worship...

1 Samuel 16:7
"For God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Getting back to the heart. Music doesn't make worship. The heart makes worship. We here at Shiloh are striving to make worship not about us but about Him. It's not about any style, or era or any other particular preferences of music. But music is simply the medium and opportunity in which we can give are hearts to God. We strive to be authentic, honest and transparent in our worship to Him, knowing that we are daily, a broken people in need of the power of Christ to be sufficient for us. In him we find true intimacy, true forgiveness, true acceptance, true freedom and true life and these are but a few reasons as to why we praise and run to Him.

Worship Director Camren Ebat heard the Lord calling him to ministry shortly after graduation. He met his wife Amy while leading worship for a church in South Spokane. His passion is to lead the congregation to a point of true worship, allowing the Lord to prepare hearts to hear His message. Camren and Amy have two children (Clayton-5 and Addison-1).

If you are interested in being a part of the worship team. Please feel free to email Camren or call him at 509.467.9380.

Below is a Q & A that may give you insight into what worship looks like at Shiloh Hills Fellowship.

What type of music do you play?

We play blended worship, contemporary, hymns, maranatha, vineyard, with the occasional blues/folk or campfire revival set to keep things interesting. lol

What's the worship leader like?

Probably a little too honest lol (I am the worship leader). I am insufficient to do anything apart from Christ, so I try to wait for His stamp of approval on everything, the music selection, how to engage the congregation, how and when to challenge the congregation. I try to follow His leading with all aspects of worship because I need to. I am human, I make mistakes but I am striving to honor God, and honor people. It is important to me to be genuine, authentic and transparent, so I avoid the tendency to be fake at all cost.

What's the Congregation's personality?

We have a wide range of ages, lots of young families. It's definitely a family feel, easy to feel a sense of belonging. We laugh, we praise, we worship, we kid around, we try to enjoy the time that we have to worship God together as a family. We have a large congregation of singers. When all voices are lifted high in praise and worship, it really is a wonderful sound to behold.
